TANDEM Cádiz - Centro Melkart
The Spanish school in Cádiz, Melkart, named after the mythological founder of the city, Hercules, in the Phoenician version, was founded in 1995 out of a Spanish family’s enthusiasm for sharing its language and culture.
The Spanish school is located in the old part of the city, between «Plaza de Mina» and «La Alameda», a promenade with a view to Cadiz Bay, and it occupies a typical Andalusian house built in 1856. The school has three floors, an Andalusian patio, two terraces, eight classrooms, a multiuse lounge (library, video room, WIFI), an office and a teacher's lounge.
At Melkart Spanish school we have developed our own didactic materials, and interesting extra curricular activities enable students to enjoy Spanish language learning all year round. As a medium-sized language school with around 600 students per year and the main goal being to have motivated students, learning Spanish at Centro Melkart – TANDEM Cádiz is learning with friends and with excellent teaching methods.
TANDEM Cadiz is accredited by Instituto Cervantes, and an officially recognized DELE Examination Center. It is also a member of ELITE, FEDELE, and AEEA, and it is homologated for the Bildungsurlaub Germany and CSN Sweden.
